Conversions

Courthouse Conversion, Easingwold

The conversion of the former Easingwold courthouse into a domestic dwelling started in Spring 2010 and is due for completion Summer 2011. The new house boasts open plan ground floor living room, sunroom and kitchen and private office space. There are 5 en-suite double bedrooms and a balcony area to the master room.

High Dalby House

In the heart of Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire, our clients have purchased High Dalby House and its associated buildings to convert into a 5 star bed and breakfast. Planning has been secured for the conversion of the main house into individual en-suited rooms and independent living quarters for the owners. The old stables and offices are to be converted into two self catering cottages providing the perfect retreat for walkers and mountain bikers wishing to use the full forest facilities. Works to the main house are due to be completed mid summer 2011 with the cottages been completed in time for the 2012 season.

Holme Farm, Galphay

Work begins on the conversion of Holme Farm from a barn and out buildings into a 2500sqft domestic property. With the intention to keep as many of the original exposed beams and trusses as possible this self build project is expected to take around two years to complete and provide a truly traditional barn conversion in a traditional Yorkshire village. The first job is well underway with the rebuilding of the wheelhouse and the inner blockwork walls to the main building are almost complete taking the weight of the new first floor.
